Oh Nuts!

  As if we needed more excitement! We found out Riley has a severe nut allergy yesterday. I was eating lunch as usual with her. I had gotten myself some peanut butter, crackers and banana. Well I was using the same knife to cut the banana for her. I wiped the peanut butter off before slicing the banana, realizing she shouldn't have peanut butter so young. I don't know if the peanut butter was on the knife or she got a little from somewhere else. Needless to say within minutes she broke out in hives. I called the pediatrician and they wanted me to bring her in right away. Tim met me on our way because I wanted one of us to ride with her in the back of the car. The nurse told me to call 911 if she started having trouble breathing. :( The Dr could not believe how severe her reaction was for no more than she had. The Drs office is referring us to a pediatric allergist at Riley to go see. They've also given us a handful of epi pens to have at all times. Poor babygirl :( I'm just so thankful it was only a tiny amount because it could have been alot worse had she ingested a significant amount.

Her playing earlier in the day, she loves pulling herself up on the couch! :)

It's 7 PM

And we're going to bed! Needless to say Tim only got about 2 hours of sleep last night and myself a few more. We aren't sure why she was so upset, but here's to hoping for a better night tonight. Sorry I haven't updated lately, been really tired and trying to catch up.

So Much Happening!

  She officially has started crawling this week! So it has been exciting! :) We are also getting ready for the wedding this weekend too. Here was her practicing for the wedding. She has to ride in the wagon, cross your fingers she does good!

Dada Day!

  I wanted to share what we did for Tim for fathers day. I always knew Tim would be a great father, but now that we have Riley, I've realized he is an amazing father. :) I am so thankful for him every day and I know Riley will feel the same too. To watch the two of them interact in priceless and something I will always treasure. I will never forget this first picture I took of him with her.

  So here is his fathers day present from Riley! :)

Well it happened, she's officially a daddy's girl already! She said dada yesterday and it's now her favorite word! Oh well, it's appropriate considering this weekend is fathers day. Just some random cell phone pictures for now. I have a fathers day project in the works, don't worry. ;)

To explain the pictures: "helping" mommy upstairs and playing horsey, practicing our wagon riding, she is moving alot more and decided to read the Sunday paper, and she loved some cherries at lunch today!

She's starting to get into everything...yay...not! ;) I guess she was couponing!

First Patty Cake!

  We have been so busy! Last Friday I went to a final dress fitting for Jennifer. Well Riley decided she would clap for the first time as soon as Jennifer had her dress on, it was so cute! And appropriate! Here is a video of her doing it that same day at home.
