Shopping Day!

We went shopping at the outlet mall today with great grandma. She had a blast and did great considering it was so hot. There was even a cool shaded park she played in for a bit before we left. :)

Trouble has Begun

Well I'm burning more calories chasing her and getting gray hairs too! ;)

I thought I could leave the stroller like this...

So then I left it unfolded...She climbs up in it and jumps like its a trampoline.

Cruising Weekend

Riley decided to go for a drive this weekend. She LOVES being pushed around the yard in this car. :)

She likes her chair too!

She was happy to see Caden last week for his 10 month birthday!

Laughing All Day

Today was one of those days I couldn't help but constantly laugh at her. She flushed the toilet, climbed up the ENTIRE stairs to upstairs and tried to get out of her swing outside. This was all before 10 am! She's a nut...

Chicken patti, black beans, blueberries and watermelon for lunch, she was pretty happy!

I was trying to show off the hat and scarf I made for her out of an old sweater. I went outside to take a picture thru the glass since she wouldnt hold still. I need to clean some windows!

Pork chop! Yummy!

She tried some cake for the first time this weekend. Tim made me a cake with all my "can haves" so Riley could have it too. :)

Dear Riley

You woke up last night just as I layed down to go to sleep. Even though I was exhausted and just wanted to close my eyes, it's ok. Because every day when I pick you up out of you crib I'm reminded of how you're getting bigger every day.

We took you to Riley the other day, to see a specialist about your allergies. They confirmed what we already suspected, no nuts for you. As we walked through the hospital I kept getting this déjà vu feeling. Then when we got up to your doctor, I realized it was the same floor, opposite end as my doctor. Its just this gut wrenching feeling that hits you. All those visits, procedures, etc, it comes back. I really hope this doesn't become a routine thing for you to have to see a specialist. But even in saying that after your dad and I got in the car I said to him, "All you have to do is take a quick walk though that hospital to realize how lucky we are." It is so true. There are so many families there I'm sure would take a simple allergy any day for their child.

So Riley, I hope you know that even though it may not be fun if you're never able to eat peanut butter your whole life, there's worse things. Your dad and I still feel so blessed every day to have you. :)

We love you

Childrens Museum

Sorry for the delay, I had this saved on my phone for two days working on getting it all together. I hope everyone had a great weekend. :) Tim surprised me on Friday by going to the Terre Haute Children's Museum. We had so much fun!!

She was working on her garden.

She loves people watching! :)

Be brave Riley!

This thing was so cool!

She loved this water table.

Then afterwards we went to our favorite and Riley's now too, Sushi Umi. She had sticky rice all over her!

Such a good birthday. :)
